Turtle Rock Studios was founded in 2002. The team of about six people had limited resources so set up work space in Booth’s garage. The name “Turtle Rock” derived from the name of a neighbourhood where Booth lived.

The Boomerang is the last item you can get after completing the Link’s Awakening Trading Sequence. It requires you to go to a hidden cave on the coast of Toronbo Shores with the Magnifying Glass in hand. There, you’ll see a cracked wall. Use a Bomb to open it.

With its face now revealed, you can slash away with your sword. When the head moves up into the air, Link can leap up with Roc’s feather and slash it that way. After a number of hits the turtle head will be defeated, revealing the entrance to the next dungeon.

How do you awaken a giant turtle in Frog Rock?
Play ‘Frog’s Song of Soul’ to awaken it. It’s known as Giant Turtle. Stand around the center along the bottom edge to bait Giant Turtle into attacking you. Jump out of the way at the last second and he’ll smash his head into the wall. Once stunned, place a bomb nead his head to break away his armor.
How to get to level 8 Turtle Rock?
Welcome to Level 8 – Turtle Rock. To start this dungeon, head up into the next room. Here you’ll find a new enemy called a Vire. Stun it with your boomerang and then use your sword to defeat it. Go left through the door that opens up. In the next room, defeat all the enemies and head up through the door. In this next room, you’ll find a Blue Hinox.
