Can you wear a belt bag? Many times you can wear a belt bag or fanny pack while ziplining. You can use this to store your things like your wallet, keys, and phone. Also, if you are wearing sunglasses it is a good idea to purchase a strap for them so they stay securely on your head while you are flying through the air.
Can you zipline with a backpack?
Actually they recommend that a small back pack is the best thing for taking while ziplining. Butt/fanny packs are OK for other activities but can loosen “in flight” and fall into the deep bowels of the jungle below you, and there is no way to recover them.

In Costa Rica, at Arenal Volcano, it was chilly enough up high to warrant wearing one, and most people in our group did wear a lightweight jacket on the tour. If it’s got zippered pockets, even better! You can take your cell phone along to snap some photos on the platforms.
