What makes someone a furry?
Furries are people who have an interest in anthropomorphic animals, or animals with human qualities. Furries represent their fursonas through art, writing, online identities, or in the creation of “fursuits,” which are elaborate costumes depicting the individual’s animal.
What is my fursona?
Fursona differs from your spirit animal. A fursona is the textualized or visualized form of your anthropomorphic or feral animal alter-ego or OC. The term is a combination of two words, Furry and Persona. The former describes human-like animals, while the latter stands for personality.
Are Fursonas real or mythical?
The fursona itself consists of a name (usually fictitious) and a species, as well as any distinctive colors, markings, or body features. An artist’s typical commission is a rendition of a fursona.
Does liking Sonic make you a furry?

It’s mainly due to misrepresentation as well as toxic members. The furry fandom is or was a very friendly and accepting community. That being said, it attracted many different kinds of people to join it.

What is a protogen furry?
Protogens are a species used by Furries; they were originally designed for space exploration in the lore developed by their creator, Malice-Risu (Furaffinity). Usually, closed species are designed to be shared, but Malice-Risu is very particular about who can own a Primagen, and it usually comes at an expensive cost.
