How do heated chainsaw handles work?
In winter, snow and ice can form on the chain saw handles, creating a slippery coating that can lead to hazardous situations. The handle heating system consists of heating elements in the handlebar (1) and rear handle (2). The heating elements are connected to the generator (4) via a switch (3).
Is it normal for a chainsaw to smoke?

With the plug touching the metal surface of the engine, pull on the recoil starter.
