What is CMC certification in nursing?
CMC (Adult) CMC® is a subspecialty certification for certified nurses who provide direct care to acutely/critically ill adult cardiac patients.

CMC is a competency-based qualification which requires you to demonstrate sufficient, relevant and timely evidence of your competency as a management consultant. The assessment process will test your competency against the CMC Standard Competence Framework.

What is Title CMC?
The Certified Municipal Clerk program is designed to enhance the job performance of the Clerk in small and large municipalities. To earn the CMC designation, a Municipal Clerk must attend extensive education programs.
How hard is the CMC exam?
The exam is a total of 90 questions, with 15 of them not counting towards the final score. To pass the CMC, you must get at least 52 questions out of the score 75 questions correct. This translates to getting approximately 69% of the answers correct.

- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Master’s degree in business administration or other master’s degree in management or management consulting or pass qualifying exams in business related subjects.
How long is CMC certification good for?
The certification lasts three (3) years. You can either retake the exam after three years, or you can renew it with something called CERPs. CERPs are continuing education recognition points and are unique to the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN).

Just took the CMC exam, and I felt it was much more difficult than the CCRN. While I did well on both ( CCRN 114/125 and CMC 63/75) the CMC just had a different feel to it. Much harder IMO. Maybe cause it didn’t have any easy ethical questions to buffer the medical ones.
