Each competitor can only compete in one individual/ team event and one chapter event. Each competitor must compete in all parts of an event for award eligibility.

Can a FBLA member compete in an individual event?
An FBLA member may participate in one (1) individual or team event, and in one (1) chapter event. Any member who competed at the 2020 NLE, or any previous NLC, should note that all FBLA-PBL established guidelines regarding repeat competitors are in place for the 2021 NLC.
How are team scores averaged in FBLA PBL?
Where collaborative objective tests are concerned, teams will take test individually and FBLA-PBL will average the scores of the team members. PLEASE NOTE: If a registered team member (s) does not log in and take the test, the scores of only the remaining team member (s) will be averaged.
Are there any open events at FBLA-PBL?
FBLA-PBL will be holding a separate open events program that any member who has registered/paid for NLC can participate in. What happens if you drop out of FBLA?
If a dropped team member attempts to compete, the entire team would be subject to disqualification at the discretion of the National Awards Program (NAP) Committee. Online, objective tests will be administered as open book/open notes/open Internet search. Role Play portion of event (for top 15 scoring individuals/teams only).
