Are green life pots and pans oven safe?
Yes, you can put your pan in the oven without any worries when it has stainless steel handles. When your pan has Bakelite (mostly black-colored) handles they are only oven-safe up to 180°C. Lids in Stainless steel can be used without any worries as well, but glass lids are oven safe up to 220°C.
Why is food sticking to my GreenPan?
Carbonization is Sticky Here’s why. Overheating + oils= carbonization (a.k.a. those little spots that cause your food to stick to the pan). Pour out the water and place the pan on a sturdy surface such as a wooden cutting board. Carefully use a restoring sponge (melamine) on the warm surface.
Can I put a Tefal pan in the oven?
Tefal pans are ovenproof and safe to use in the oven. Tefal uses Bakelite on most of its pans, meaning they can withstand temperature levels of not more than 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Do Green Life pans have Teflon?
This ceramic non-stick cookware does not have PTFE coating. GreenPan uses a different technology under the brand name of Thermolon. The Thermolon coating is made by a Sol-Gel process that results in forming a coating layer on the surface of the pan.

Can a pan be made out of oven safe material?
Sometimes, your pan may be made out of an oven safe material but the handles are not oven proof or cannot exceed certain temperatures. For e.g. skillet handles can only withstand heat up to 350˚F so wouldn’t be as much help for cooking that requires more than 350˚F but not to worry.
