PDSA offers free and reduced cost veterinary services to eligible pet owners. Our reduced cost service is available to eligible owners living within the catchment area of a PDSA Pet Hospital or Pet Clinic.

Can you get free vet care if you’re on benefits?

To qualify for free or subsidised treatment, pet owners must be in receipt of certain benefits, such as housing benefit or council tax support, and live within the catchment area of a PDSA hospital or clinic.

How much cheaper is PDSA?

Our low cost prices are typically 20% to 30% lower than private veterinary practices.

How much does PDSA charge for neutering?

The weight of your male dog does not affect the price of castration, with the PDSA. The cost of spaying a female dog under 10kg with the PDSA is £98. For a female dog over 10kg the cost is £113, and for a dog over 40kg the cost is £129. The cost of neutering does not vary by PDSA practice.
