Can Socrative detect cheating?
One concern is that students could “cheat” when taking a quiz on Socrative. Because of this, we wouldn’t recommend using Socrative for a summative assessment – keep it to formative assessments. Also, because it’s a formative assessment and weighted as 0% of their grade, they’re quite unlikely to cheat.
How do students join a Socrative space race?
Students log on to https://www.socrative.com and click on student login, using any device that is connected to the internet e.g. cell phone, tablet, laptop. Next they enter the room number given by the lecturer and click on join. The questions will appear and students can start answering.
What is a Socrative test?
Socrative is a formative assessment tool that helps teachers and learners to assess understanding and progress in real time in class through the use of quizzes, questions and reflection questions.
How do you do a Socrative test?
To create a new quiz in Socrative, go to Quizzes in the top menu, then click Add Quiz on the right. You can then enter a name for the quiz, and start adding questions.
Do students need an account to use Socrative?
