How does a grout pump work?
To draw grout from the hopper into the pump, one piston starts its suction stroke, which opens the inlet valve and closes the out- let valve, allowing grout to flow in- to the piston’s tube. Either a ball valve or a swing valve controls the flow of grout from the hopper into the tubes.
