All our meat is professionally prepared to the highest standard in our BRC A Grade facility. Yes, Haloodies products are halal-accredited. The high welfare standards are in tune with the teachings of the Quran, which instructs Muslims to eat Halal and Tayyab.

Is shazan halal or Haram?

We work very closely with a number of halal accreditation bodies who ensure that the sites our meat & poultry comes is treated and prepared according to specific rules set out by the Islamic faith. Shazan products only use meat & poultry from sites approved by these Halal Accreditation Bodies.

Halal is the description of food and drink Muslims are allowed to consume under Islamic dietary laws defined in the Koran and in the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad. The Halal Food Authority (HFA) says using machines is OK, as long as the meat is still blessed.
