Are you allowed to use a calculator on the HESI exam?
You are allowed to use a calculator on the HESI exam. However, you cannot bring your own. There will be a digital calculator available on-screen.
What percentage do you need to pass HESI?
75%
Most schools have a minimum passing score of 75% for each section of the exam. However, some schools may require students to get a 75% on one section and an 80% on another section. As well as scores being scored separately for each subject exam, students will also receive a composite score for the whole exam.
Is it possible to pass the Hesi exam?
If your critical thinking skills are at or below par, you will not pass the HESI exam no matter how much knowledge you have in the way of content. My school required a score of 850 on the HESI exams to pass. We took HESI exams every semester.
