What is the difference between Apoxie sculpt and Apoxie clay?
Apoxie sculpt is a bit tacky and ‘goopy’, like a water heavy clay. It carves and smoothes like clay, and is easily sandable and drillable. Apoxy clay is very claylike when mixed, less tacky than Sculpt.
Does Apoxie sculpt dry hard?
Aves Apoxie Sculpt is an air-dry, 2-part epoxy clay. It dries very hard within 24 hours depending on the thickness. The consistency is clay-like, but it does droop a bit and so must be put over an armature or left to stiffen in order to hold certain shapes.

Apoxie® Sculpt, Super White, FIXIT, FIXIT Sculpt and Apoxie Clay have a shelf life of 2 – 3 years, additionally all of Aves products are freeze-thaw-stable so you can store them in your refrigerator or freezer for extended shelve life.

Do you need gloves for Apoxie Sculpt?
Both Magic-Sculpt and Apoxie Sculpt can be used with bare hands. Some people prefer using latex gloves for easier cleanup, others like the better feel without gloves. There may be a slight odor with new containers of epoxy clay when first opened.

What should I know about Aves Apoxie Sculpt?
It adheres to glass, metal, plastic, wood, your eyeglasses, your fingernails, tools, etc. so always be sure to constantly and thoroughly clean your hands and your tools. I work now exclusively in Aves Apoxie Sculpt, with a few other materials on the side like air dry LaDoll and Gapoxio (another 2 part ambient set epoxy direct sculpt putty).

Can you mix Apoxie Sculpt with polymer clay?
Yes you can! If you mix 5 parts Apoxie to 1 part polymer clay it will slow down the curing time while adding color to the AS. People have had mixed results with HOW durable it is after curing, but it seems in general that it is at least as sturdy as baked Sculpey III.
