What is the difference between Economy light and Economy Classic on Alitalia?
For Alitalia that means that if you’re flying on a Light Economy ticket, you will be limited to a single carry-on bag that weighs less than 8 kilograms. If you book a ‘classic’ economy ticket, you get a checked bag included in your ticket price.

When to request a special meal on an Alitalia Flight?
For flights operated by partner airlines, you should contact the Alitalia call center to confirm the onboard meal. The special meal is only confirmed on flights where a complete onboard meal is offered and if the meal is requested at least 24 hours prior to the departure of the flight ( further details on onboard meals ).
Are there vegetarian meals on Alitalia flights to India?
Please note: on flights to/from India, the meals served in Economy Class and Premium Economy Class are vegetarian (they do not contain meat but may contain milk/egg derivatives). This means that you can choose either an Italian vegetarian meal (pasta) or an ethnic vegetarian meal.
Do you get food and drink on flights?
