Recently, there were reports that Xiaomi is going to unveil the successor of Mi Max on the same event where they will launch Xiaomi Mi6. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is the successor, which is expected to be launched at the same event. Now, a couple of days ahead of its expected arrival, the phone in Gold color pops up online. The rear side of the phone is surfaced along with the top and bottom ends of the phone. At the back, the phone has a fingerprint scanner and a 12-megapixel rear camera (as per rumours) with Dual LED flash. On the top, there is a 3.5mm audio jack with an IR Blaster. At the bottom, there is a speaker grill along with USB Type C port in the middle.
According to previous leaks and rumours, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will sport a 6.44-inch Full HD display backed by a massive 5000 mAh battery. The phone might come in these two variants – 4GB RAM + Snapdragon 626 SoC and 6GB RAM + Snapdragon 660 SoC. Camera-wise, a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera is expected.
Another image leaked of the rear panel of the phone has surfaced along with its transparent back cover. Image reveals volume up and down button with power button placed on right hand side of the phone.
